Hormone Balancing Bliss Balls

These nutrient-dense bliss balls contain healthy omega 3 fats, protein, B vitamins, magnesium, and zinc which are all necessary for hormone balance. The Medjool dates make them a sweet treat and the cinnamon helps to balance blood sugar levels. The flaxseeds are a superstar ingredient as they are oestrogen balancers - promoting oestrogen when it's needed and reducing oestrogen (through detoxification) when it is too high. They are also a good source of soluble fibre and support healthy bowels.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1 cup walnuts

  • ½ cup ground flaxseeds

  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds

  • ¼ cup coconut oil

  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder

  • 5 Medjool dates

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • Extra desiccated coconut to roll balls in


  • Blend walnuts and pumpkin seeds in food processor for 1 minute.

  • Add remaining ingredients to food processor and blend until well combined.

  • Take 1 large teaspoon of mixture at a time and roll into a ball.

  • Roll each ball in your choice of coating: desiccated coconut, raspberry powder or cacao powder.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for a month
